New York born singer/songwriter/producer and entrepreneur.

As a recording artist and performer Ian has released 3 full-length albums and 12 singles / EPs of his own original work. He has toured the country and opened for Donovan, Kenny Loggins, Eric Burdon and The Animals, Chris Daughtry, Steve Miller Band, Leon Russell, Gin Blossoms, Duncan Sheik, Jeffrey Gaines and Christopher Cross.

In recent years Ian has carved out a niche reputation for giving intimate performances at VIP celeb events and private gatherings that include, The Sundance Film Festival and the infamous opening of Peter Tunney's Art Factory in NY. His songs have been featured in films.

As a producer Ian has co-written and released the works of all of the other songwriters on his independent label 27 Productions, which he founded and currently owns. Starting out as a young teenager in the early 90's Ian was inspired and directed into music by Seattle's swarm of super successes like Nirvana and Pearl Jam.Starting out as a young teenager in the early 90's Ian was inspired and directed into music by Seattle's swarm of super successes like Nirvana and Pearl Jam.

However his true passion for songwriting and lyrical content came into full bloom when he discovered the legends who became his teachers and influences. At the top of this list of mentors is the 60's songwriting icon Bob Dylan, followed by artists such as Neil Young, Lou Reed, David Bowie, Tom Petty and more recent successes REM, Elliott Smith, Lou Barlow and Beck. Ian has received acclaim; including an honorable mention in the Great American Songwriter Awards, for his 3rd album Alchemist.
The album pays homage to what Blake described in an interview as "A book that saved my life"...

Written about in music publications throughout the country and across the Atlantic, Ian was featured in an article titled The Re-emergence of the New York Singer/Songwriter where he was described as "... one of New York's best kept secrets.."
